Service Improvements Effective February 5, 2012

(Stockton, CA) – In response to customer comments at RTD Board Meetings and community meetings and received by telephone, email, and online about overcrowding on some routes, Service Development staff carefully reviewed service on select Metro and County routes and met with coach operators to discuss and plan service improvements that will better meet customer needs.

As a result of this effort and to meet current ridership demands, RTD will implement service improvements on two dates. On January 17, RTD will add temporary supplemental service to the current schedules on Routes 23 and 90. On February 5, RTD will implement improved service on Routes 23, 27, 54, 63, 65, 77, 83, 85, 90, 91, 93, and 725. The new service will improve connections at both the Downtown Transit Center and the Mall Transfer Station and will operate more frequently with half-hourly and hourly departure times.

COMMUTER SERVICE CHANGE NOTICE
EFFECTIVE MONDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2011

On July 19, 2011, San Joaquin RTD’s Board of Directors approved the elimination of seven (7) Commuter
Service Routes and the introduction of Route 150, effective September 5, 2011.

As a result of decreased transit funding and increased operating costs anticipated in Fiscal Year 2012,
RTD must eliminate low-ridership routes for which customers have alternative service. RTD will provide
supplemental rider notices to customers on affected routes.
