| On Monday, October 13, RTD begins construction of its Mall Transfer Station along Yokuts Avenue between the Sherwood and Weberstown Malls. During this first phase of construction, vehicle traffic along Yokuts between Claremont and Pacific will be reduced to one lane in each direction and the sidewalks will be removed.
As a result, Yokuts will be closed to pedestrian traffic and RTD will temporarily be relocating its bus transfer operations from Yokuts to along Pacific Avenue, north of Yokuts. A map showing where stops will be located can be seen below or downloaded here.
The stops for the following routes will be relocated from Yokuts Avenue to the northbound side of Pacific Avenue, between the mall entrance just north of the Elephant Bar, and the Sherwood Mall marquee sign:
51, 54, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 70, 71, 74, 80, 81, 320, 330, and 350
During construction, passengers may experience some schedule delays.
